Whos not awesome?
Scottish Cycling – I was not allowed to race this morning in Balfron.
After taking my entry money and 2 emails from the organisation confirming I could race by paying a 1 day licence, they decided 90mins before the start I wouldn’t be allowed. They also decided I’d be too good to race in the ‘B’ race. I sort of took that as a complement and left in good enough humour. . . . then, whilst muching on some banana cake in the car 10mins later, it hit me that I wasn’t racing !

I had wasted a lot of time, I had wasted yesterdays training day and I was eating this banana cake for no other reason than it was there for me . . . . thanks banana cake, thanks for being there.

Gavin, I heard you were banned from Champions League and Formula 1 for the same reason.
Lucky for us ITU allows you to race triathlons.
