Impartial Reporter Sports Personality of the Year  . . . true story !

How awesome am I on this blog ?

I was going to complain about the temperature difference between Stellenbosch and Dublin and ‘give out’ about spending 84 euro in Superquinn yesterday when all I went in for was a pint of milk  . . . but alas . .  let me allude to the fact that on Friday night my companions and I were the last to leave the Lough Erne Resort in Enniskillen  . .  ”Taxi for Noble” one man might have said. Maybe.

I was awarded the Impartial Reporter Sports Personality of the Year by Northern Ireland football Manager Michael O’Neill – and was amongst a number of athletes and teams who represented Ulster, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Fermanagh with distinction in 2012. I have been told that I am being added to the Enniskillen Wall of Fame . . but sure . .  as it is my blog ill leave that for another blog . .  sometimes you wait and wait for blog material and 3 awards come along !

Did I mention the temperature difference between Stellenbosch and Dublin ? I was cursing around the apartment at 5.30am looking for arm warmers as it was only 19 degrees, 24hrs later I am defrosting the car and looking on in amazement at a dude in a pair of shorts commuting to work.

Time to get tough.

And maybe grow some facial hair.

And clean that cyclocross bike of mine.

And bring some moisturiser to the pool so my skin doesn’t get too dry.

And toughen up.
