Im into my last weekend here in South Africa and theres a lot to catch up on - in the coming days Ill report on how my 10 weeks of training have went; the characters I have met and the weeks and indeed the season ahead.
My new website has taken a long time to wrestle away from my old provider but Im happy that its finally up and running – I have been welcomed into the NEKADA Triathlon family and am looking forward to working with the team – ill introduce you the NEKADA boys as well as some new sponsors in the days to come ….
ABSA Cape Epic .... Irish Stowaway
This morning I crawled out of the pool after a main set of 80 x 50m (6 steady, 4 hard, repeat, on the 50 second cycle) and polished off some the finest blueberry pancakes this side of the equator before joining Bobby Behan and the Specialized troops to Table Moutain in Cape Town – Bobbys team of Christophe Sauser and Burry Stander are racing in the ‘ABSA CAPE EPIC’ moutain bike race – under the banner of Team Songo.info the Specialized World Champs won todays prologue in fine style ….. a good day was capped in the 77th minute in Cardiff as Ronan O’Gara slotted home his drop goal to win Ireland the Grand Slam
