Everyone in triathlonteam raced last weekend except (which is unusual) the brownest man in Scotland Fraser Cartmell. You know I was at Swim Athy 2009 and of course you know from reading triathlonteam.org (and being a virtual facebook fan etc etc) that:
Conrad Stoltz won Xterra Alabama with Dan Hugo knocking at the door once again in 4th. You can read some Stoltz magic here and if you have a degree in English Literature you will be able to make sense of Dan’s report here – something about a constellation of oak leaves and a raging war.
The Iron kids were out in force too. Igor qualified for Hawaii in Lanzarote. Alexsandar was 31st in Austria whilst Dejan was 9th in the same race – some good photos and his report are here – if your Croatian is as good as mine though your probably best to make a stab at Dan’s blog ….
Will Clarke was up to his usual tricks too over the weekend racing in France – his new website will be up and running very soon.

This weekend Fraser and I will travel to Athy for Triathy to do battle – maybe I should just have stayed there from last weekend ??? The course there is billed as the fastest in Ireland and with 2500 competitors this year is one of Irelands biggest events. Maybe a good result there will show the organisers of the Blenhiem Triathlon that I am good enough for the elite wave …
