I was in Athlone in July 2010
I cheered for Lisa Norden my Specialized team mate
I was on the hill and witnessed her strength and determination
I saw her in the distance fight off her Spanish rival for a spot on the podium
I saw her the next day smiling with her Swedish team mates
I sensed behind her smile a desire to stand 2 steps higher
