Lucozade Sport Club Crusade

Maybe you have been sitting in a traffic jam and heard my voice coming from the dashboard ? Tell the Wife to quieten down you need to hear this ! The Lucozade Sport Club Crusade took to the airwaves recently …
I haven’t blogged for a little while . . although I did make some metal notes and have a few stories still to tell. There is one about how I was leading a pack of guys at 70km per hour down a hill in Mexico, in the tuck position on the bike and to my right Ivan Rana attacked on the steepest part of the downhill. “What the frack !” I thought. Cojones so big I wonder how he sits down.
I am spending most of my time in ‘my own little world’ (more than usual even) at the moment so I haven’t gotten around to updating my wanderings, although my Twitter pumps out a constant enough annoying stream of conscious and sub conscious thoughts. Caught in between time zones, continents, foam rollers, scenarios, if’s and buts. Hesitantly signing documents, making plans and bookings.

Getting lost of my home trails, in the hills on the bike and following feet in the pool . . trying to follow feet anyway. Maintaining fitness and now trying to build it. On the treadmill the other day I found myself chatting with Van Morrison whilst he was ‘cleaning windows’. “Number 136″ I quoted rather too loudly, confusing the other treadmill users.
Too many time zones, a lot of travel, a messed up body clock and un due stress on my coaches, physio and not least my Dad !!
But in the end it will be worth it . . if only for 1 day . . . but what a day
