Sports Academy International

I spent the last few days in Monte Gordo, Portugal. I was there as a guest of Irish event management company Sports Academy International - the same company which recently brought Muhammad Ali to Ennis in County Clare !!
We studied maps, checked out hotels, the quality of chocolate mousse, gelato, wildlife and nightlife. On the day we visited the new swimming pool I brought my camera (above).
Tony Griffin and Tomas Madigan (Tomas not Thomas !) are developing plans to enter the Triathlon market and it was great to be part of an initial process to assess whether or not they could bring some of their plans to light in Portugal.
In the coming weeks ill report back further on our findings, the company, their vision, the day Lance Armstrong had Tony over for to his house for lunch and how Tomas likes to start his day on a trampoline . . . . .

Hey Gavin,
Nice to see you and the boyz had a very hard working holiday researching the bars and restaurants in portugal:lol: . I was talking to tony today I am going to meet him next week. By the way the hotel and resort look great for the camps and portugal is so handy to get to. I will email you in the next few weeks.
