After a weekend of “Golf” with my brothers I am here in Enniskillen taking over the washing machine, computer, tv remote, car and fridge. On Wednesday ill land in Cape Town and although ‘Pontresina 2009′ is the current ‘best camp ever’ I am looking forward to ‘The Bosch 2009′ challenging it.

I have fond memories of my trip to Kenmare a few years ago - a great race at the Lost Sheep, amazing scenery, a beautiful town, some seal watching, craic was good and I had the best ‘fish n chips’ in all the land, twice.
‘The Pack’ were there at the weekend

Gavin Noble finished 5th in TriAthlone 2009 1:13 behind winner Bryan Keane.
Gavin is also 2nd Irish triathlete behind Bryan Keane who also competed for Ireland.

I need sleep, so quickly in a nutshell
Swim:
It’s the swim that causes the tension before the start. 95% of the athletes are thinking about making that first group. Everyone has the same focus and fears. 
My swim went well but I was disappointed not to have more belief - I should have made the breakaway group as I was there at 750m. [...]

Contrary to what I said on my twitter - this Tractor was not a prize in Triathy ! Maybe though something for the organisers to think about for next year.
Myself and Fraser Cartmell packed up and checked out of the Cartlon Hotel in Athy 3hrs late - admittedly it was more my fault than his [...]

Gavin finished in 6th place at Strathclyde Park.
