It has been a while now since the ‘disappointment of Athlone’ and an even longer time since I have been able to train properly. An injury is a difficult dog and I will have to admit that 5 weeks on the fight with this dog is getting very tiring.
“I am in a glass case of emotion right now” That’s a line from a ‘words, quotes and lyrics’ game that Bryan Keane sometimes play - I was able to get it into an interiew in Athlone ! ‘Coconuts’ and “at the end of the day all credit to preparation” are still on the list though.
I watched the Irish Women today in Athlone and will be cheering on Bryan, James and the Juniors tomorrow. Triathlon Ireland
