Fraser Cartmell hit the podium in UK 70.3 – there are rumours of a ‘code brown’ which I am sure will be cleaned up in his race report in the coming days.

Other triathlon team warriors were in action too

Conrad and Dan fought it out once again for top spot in Xterra Richmond with this time Conrad returning to winning ways.

Will I am podiumed again in the French Grand Prix – my boy Maccers was there too and was running strong

The Pack were out in force in Ireland – this time in Camlough sprint- a sprint race organised by the Newry Triathlon Club. More pleasing results to build on before National Champs in Kilkee in a couple of weeks.

I too raced – a 5km road race in Pollok Park in Glasgow – I was told it was a flat and fast course ! I ended up in first with 15.49, not fast and not flat !!!

I passed through 1km in 2.54 and was thinking a PB was on the cards but a couple of seconds later I was running at 4.20 per Km as I tackled the first hill and then the next and then the next . . . . I also managed to jump on a marshall at the bottom of a descent as I didn’t know which direction I was supposed to be going and she was surprised to see me come round the corner – I think she enjoyed it ? or not.

Park Run in Glasgow is a free event held every Saturday morning at 9.30 am – in a similar style to the famous Bushy Park 5km in London. It was a nice change to the track and something I’d recommed to anyone in and around Central Scotland.

(mum – they edited the photo above to make me look like Skeletor, I promise. I am healthy and eating well !)
